  1. I've never been a fan of the Raid System.
Go figure the one thing they do right with it, is the one thing they are trying to remove.

  2. Remote raids are nice, but I meet one of my best friends by going out & actually playing. Remote raids have destroyed local communities/discord groups like it or not. Nobody goes out & plays like they used to. I always thought Pokèmon Go was cool because it was a way for you to get to know the locals of the area. Now, with remote raids, the game has lost its magic that brought strangers together as a team. I'm glad they are doing this.

  3. nobody is gonna care about peridot. pokemon go is famous for it being pokemon, and so many people love pokemon because they've built a relationship with the series for a while (i've been a pokemon fan since i was in elementary school, i turn 20 in may this year). most pokemon clones fail no matter how hard they try bc they can never get the same, iconic appeal as pokemon games has. this isn't to be a debbie downer or anything, but i was extremely hyped for tem tem but dropped it after a single day and even with updates i don't really wanna touch it because as a pokemon fan, i'd rather play pokemon related things with the time i have instead because for the reason i stated in my first sentence.

and if niantic is self-sabotaging pokemon go is true, it's honestly one of the worst financial related decisions i've seen in a long while. the peridot characters do look nice but at the same time i just really really do not care and i personally believe if they were to make pokemon go better and actually try, they're probably gonna make more than with the entirety of how long peridot will be up for.

  4. I'm still waiting for a daycare update. Honestly what pisses me off the most is that you can't actually have your "own" pokemon, its always up to chance and you only are given what Niantic wants you to have. literally hatched pokemon have no personality, you only get dumb luck hoping it got perfect IV's, there's no strategy involved or planning its nothing different from catching a wild one. that's another thing, why you only have special mons with cool moves when there's an event? ok sure, if you play you get them but why limit them to only that time? I'll be more than willing to pay like 10 or 20 coins to have my pokemon in the daycare for a couple of hours, then picking up all the eggs they have and hopefully they inherit the IV's and moves from the parents!! PERSONALITY you worked for it you get it! not catch 500 and pray you get a good one…

It would've been so cool if when they released gen 2 a daycare had been implemented, when gen 3 weathers, when gen 4 fucking cosmetic pokeballs!…

  5. If there were any evidence of (or even the appearance of) Niantic making GO worse to position Peridot as a competitor, that would incur a massive lawsuit that Niantic would not recover from. I can't see it happening. I'm assuming incompetence here.

  6. My roommate and I have a theory that Niantic is actually purposefully trying to kill the game so they don’t have to make it anymore, the sheer amount of terrible decisions they’ve made would kill nearly any game, it’s just that Pokémon can keep it alive

  7. If there plan is to boost sales and players of Peridot by making Pokémon Go suck, that’s not that great of a plan. I was at least willing to give Peridot a try before, but with the way PoGo is turning out, I don’t think they’d change anything about the style of game to improve of PoGo

  8. fuvk pokemon go. all my homies will be grinding on pokemon sleep and getting a good night sleep

  9. What drives me crazy is how many people go "y'all still complainin?" And "nobody's making you play"

  10. Disagree. Idk why I got suggested this video since I haven't played since 2016… Buy I and most of the ppl I knew to have stopped playing, did so because of half baked/poorly implemented gameplay mechanics.

Doesn't matter what the IP is if I see a stack of 6 dragonites ( or IP equivalent) stacked on every gym for 4 blocks…. Your game is busted

  11. this makes me scared for pikmin bloom, if they (allegedly) cant be bothered with the largest IP in the world, who knows what theyd try to do to pikmin bloom

  12. Wow, really great points!
To the point about tracking our movement data.. who the hell are they gonna track if everyone quits because they're managing the game horribly? 😂 I don't know that they've considered that!
Another thing about your last point is that if it's true that they are sabotaging PoGo to send players to Peridot.. who do they think they're going to retain? Niantic isn't just ruining PoGo, they are ruining their reputation. Who is going to want to play and invest a ton of time and money into a game by developers who are willing to ignore their player base?

  13. Browsing through some comments that say remote raid passes destroyed local communities 😂
Remember there was a pandemic first, which the remote raids were a response to. Lol

  14. Could people stop encouraging the abusive idea that corporations came up with of them destroying and ending games. They should end boomers favorite retro classic games because there not perfect. I don't like people acting this way about Pokemon go and other games, it's like younger generations r not being allowed to have many classic games 2 be nostalgic about but still playing along time later because of the idea maybe the corporation should just destroy them if the game isn't perfect or the corporation goes against players wishes in game changes. I don't like the remote raid changes either but the game needs 2 be available most of us still want 2 play.

  15. I think if that other game fails niantic would stop the conctract with pokemon and pokemon go will shut down
    BUT I PRAY IT DOESNT

  16. That’s been a problem with Pokemon from the start if you don’t have friends and or family you have to do extra to trade like I use to have a GBC then I got a GBA so I was good but not everyone parents welling to keep buying game boys and all 3 Pokémon games

  17. second worst thing pokemon go has ever done. worst is that there still isn’t volcarona

  18. Such is the classic tale of any given company. They struggle, end up doing something right to fix their problem resulting in a much larger fanbase and revenue only to then undo the very thing that helped them resulting in them losing money, fans, reputation and in some cases closing up shop forever.

They knew full well just how bad the pandemic was and knew how much people loved Pokemon so by giving players an item to play the game from a long distance, which last I recall they would punish people for spoofiing so it's a bit hypocritical, they saved their product. Now seeing them trying to ruin the game and make things worse feels like a punch in the gut, especially since I was an old Beta Tester and watching all this just hurts.

I get they want to keep the core of the game being "go outside and have fun" but the one thing that was always brought up was to include a way to help those who couldn't go outside for varies reasons and seeing them add that item in only to remove it shows they just don't care. Sell Pokemon Go to someone else and let them handle everything while Niantic can do whatever they please but we all know they won't, they want to piggyback off the success and popularity that is Pokemon, make their own clone like everyone else does, and try to be the next Pokemon.

  19. I used pgsharp but I'm at a point I got a third warning after using it after a year and I've been playing since it came out

  20. 600 dollars an starter pack and 2000 $ dollars virtual clothes 50dollars of item per day not free freebies player like me just level 36 in 4 years 26 shiny 20 2000 cp 500 3 star 600 pokemon 2 platinum battle towner not work for 1 years nows

  21. Pokemon GO also has the advantage of being compatible with the mainline Pokemon games whereas Peridot, regardless of it`s quality, will likely be completely self contained. It`s also questionable why they would think people would trust them to even manage the new IP when they screw up Pokemon Go every step of the way. Pokemon Sword and Sheild proved it`s increadibly hard to make people stop playing Pokemon yet Niantic managed to do it. Even if someone were interested in the idea behind the product why bother if the company can`t prove they`re competent enough to keep the new game going?

  22. Me who just played Pokemon Go for the first time and seeing this dumpster fire 😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐

  23. I stopped playing POGO sometime after late 2016 to early 2017 due to my rural home town not having any pokestops in the immediate area, I got back to playing for a few month after moving to Australia back at early 2019 but also stopped sometimes after.

I started playing again just a few days ago and man.. what a shitshow.

  24. As someone who gots 3 phones and accounts and wastes very little on pokemon go. Ninantic should just listen to the community more they've done good changes and bad changes and they really need to look at things from a different perspective to be real😂

  25. I think you got more than you bargained for when you said reply to every comment haha, your comments section is madness right now 😂 nice video btw.

  26. The whole reason many people joined Pokemon Go was because it let us access pokemon that were currently stuck on outdated consoles, and Go lets you send stuff to Home, allowing you to collect the full national pokedex and potentially trade the pokemon into the main games. That was the idea. (Regardless of actual implementation in the main games -_- )

Lots of people also just so happened to "get into Pokemon" thanks to Go, so that's nice.

But yes, the people who are playing because it is POKEMON, they aren't going to suddenly swap to a game that has nothing to do with anything else, let alone spend that same amount of money on it.

  27. Niantic is NOTHING without the Pokemon IP. What did they do before, huh? Fucking Ingress. Yeah exactly: What?
No one has ever heard of that shit, nor will they ever hear of anything else Niantic made. Niantic dipped their foot in basically every single IP that sells these days, and failed HORRIBLY. Master plan: take away the only reason why people even tried out your shit spaghetti code game – that way there will be no bad reviews if no one ever plays it 🙂

  28. I wonder if Peridot is coming cause Niantic is scared that they will lose the Pokemon IP? Cause they really arent doing anything noteworthy with Pokemon Go.
