They’re not cracking down on them, your friend just slipped up and got caught. This has been a thing for years.
It is just your friend, probably he didnt wait the 2 and half hours of cooldown between teleports

I don’t understand wanting to spoof … Part of the fun is actually going outside
They have always cracked down on them, I used to spoof on an alt account when from 2018-2019 when I was bored and got banned fairly quickly
