i haven’t seen any of the birds in over a month here

  2. DONTCARELOLK

How did you see it twice? I’ve seen birds 3 times an only once per essence? Did you circle back around to the same location or go somewhere else?

He came back just to bury those hopes and dreams further into the ground. RIP

Oh no! The extra hard to catch thing was hard to get!

    IVs when they’ve fled:

    CP 2386: 6/11/8, Level 25, 1 star, 56% IV.

    CP 2697: 15/9/15, Level 27, 3 stars, 87% IV.

Pvpoke.com > Battle Simulator > Select any Pokémon > Enter their IV (0-15 Atk, Def, Sta) & Levels

Pokémon goers when RNG feels like RNG rather than just give it to me

I gave up after months of using the incense daily. Did not even see one bird. Couldn’t imagine how I’d feel if I saw one and failed it, followed by a second one 😂.

I don’t think anyone’s laughing at niantic today. The numbers aren’t good for them lately.

I had a like a 40cp XXL moltres run from me on my birthday, thought I was about to get lucky when I saw it

  10. I have seen it and failed to catch it five times now

“Despair can only exist where there is hope” -Bane…and Niantic

I ran into 3 zapdos 2 weeks ago and they all ran! What are the odds of them appearing?

I’ve seen like 3 birds since January, wife has seen like 4. Not worth the hassle when you’re lucky to get 1 spawn a month with a 99% chance it’s just going to flee.

Mine has only 560CP, but that’s 7/11 Druggie for ya

  15. MaxxShallow

I’ve seen 11 birds and haven’t caught a single one, I pretty much stopped using my daily incense

Bro I had a zap encounter yesterday my first encounter fled after the first throw used the best of everything available it makes no difference at all. The flee rate is ridiculous. If they were smart and wanted to maximize profits they should get rid of fleeing and just make it that the higher the rarity you have the more resources you have to use to catch it also could make it more skill based and have it be the better the throws like getting excellent would shorten the amount of time and resources it takes to catch it then it would force people to buy more resources from the store and make better throws which would make them more money. Fleeing causes us to use little to no resources or not to need to buy anything from them lol

unlucky but that’s a bit schitzo

Wow and I thought a golden berry would help

To me, the rarity of the birds makes it more exciting. I know it’s annoying to see the birds flee. Especially when you encountered them back to back I would be upset too! But if it were too easy to obtain it makes it less exciting. I myself only have one out of many encounters

Never has any post been more accurate than this one!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💯

I read about a trick to catch them on FB.

    Feed a golden raz.

Wait 10 minutes, and do nothing.

Then throw ultra ball, doesn’t even need to be nice, great, or excellent, and you’ll catch it.

Apparently it doesn’t even need to be an ultra ball, but why chance.

I’d like to imagine that there’s are flocks of legendary birds out there who just want to live free and in peace. And every so often they run into us and in an extremely rare occasion, they get captured. And all the homies in the large glowing tree in Dyna Tree Hill that night will raise a toast/caw into the night and be like “Zapdos❶❷❸¹³⑨ was a real one.”
