Very luck-dependent. You need to have good luck with Propulsion rolls and Hurricane misses at the start to prevent Toxic, good paralysis procs to keep damage up (which also includes good luck with Self-Cleanse procs), and good MP Rekindle procs to keep Marnie healthy.
Getting that sync off in Bar 2 without paralysis was actually quite optimal as it allowed me to advance the sync countdown in Bar 2 instead of Bar 3, which works in favor for me because of the Attack debuffs and Lucky Entry rolling Defense +2. You should ideally have Sp Def +2 instead to better tank Bars 1 and 3 as well as the sync, but after resetting over a hundred times before Turn 1, you make do with suboptimal rolls sometimes lol.
