Yes but not that bad! I find it randomly turns up later in the day
Yea i agree, my fitness app on my applewatch says i walk like 60km every week yet pogo registers AT BEST 25-26km. I dont wear my watches in my house and neither i carry my phone around in my house but at an yother ocassion i have them both, sometimes the phone even more so i have no idea whats happening
Sometimes it acts up but if I put my phone in my pocket upside down it works better. I don’t know WHY, but hell.
Make sure if you are not in the game playing that you close it completely, adventure sync āworks betterā that way.
I sometimes get issues with home WiFi and being out and about.
So before I go for a run or a walk or something, I always turn off WiFi, reboot PoGo on cell service only and then take it from there. That usually does the trick for me

Take my poll. I’m trying to figure out what percentage of players are having trouble and to what degree since Niantic keeps gaslighting everyone saying there is no issue. They won’t even acknowledge it.
It happened to me before the worst of winter started and I got fuckin pissed. Twice it refused to sync because I either wasn’t with the phone skin to skin (it was in my backpack, while I was cycling), or I was going too fast. Except I know I wasn’t so it was Niantic’s bullshit.
Between the cold and the disappointment, I stopped cycling.
P.D.: I’m from Southern Hemisphere.
Adventure Sync is broken since January
YES! Itās been absurd! My wife and I play together and sheās clocking probably 40% more distance than mine is registering even though we are LITERALLY IN THE SAME PLACE
I have to completely refresh the app sometimes so it will show me my correct distance walked for both my buddies and my eggs. Otherwise it wonāt go up until I do šš«
Yes and it started as soon as this egg hunt event began. Kind of suspicious.
I had a notification that said I walked 3.9km with adventure sync and when I checked my eggs it only registered like 1.7 š«„š«„š«„
O yeah, Iāve had eggs that had farther to go than another egg beat it to the finish line. Iāve completed an egg and had to go an extra .5 kilometers to trigger the hatching. Iāve traveled multiple kilometers and had no distance registered.
I worked a 12 hour shift today. Running around non-stop for 12 hours.
After I clock out, I look at my Kms walked? 0.03 KM. When I normally get 10+ during a 12 hour shift.
UNREAL.
Iāve been having the same issues as well. Nothing works. I was taking screenshots of my pedometer app and PokĆ©mon go before and after and it just got exhausting. With all of the other issues here Iām feeling more and more that Iām closer and closer to being fed up and will likely quit soon.
Fun fact that Iāve come to realize is that Pikmin go doesnāt have this problem. I open my pedometer app then wait for Pikmin to catch up and it ends up pretty accurate. A lot more accurate than PokĆ©mon go!
I have iPhone 13 Pro Max and use Pedometer++.

Yup! Worst part is that I know it’s not something I’m doing wrong, or some switch that’s not flipped. Some days it’ll work great, most days it won’t. And I don’t do anything different. Very annoying during these egg events, especially being F2P and only hatching one a day because of this
I broke 25km for the first time in weeks. I only had to do around 80 to get credit for it.
I rode my bike for 14 miles today and did not hatch *anything*. Still have 3k left on my 10k egg.
Happened to me yesterday, then it just jumped forward 10km after slowly increasing up to 2km

I walk close to 10 miles at work every day according to my Fitbit. The game registers like .8 km when I open the game. I basically have to keep the game open in order for the game to register my distance walked.
Yep never going to get higher then level 47 because meeting “walk 25km in a week with ad sync on 8 times” refuses to work even.though I’ve done 47 miles this week with it….
Yea, it turned up at the end of the day
If youāre on iPhone, open you health app and refresh the steps before you open the game
So its not just me!!!! I did 6 km today to hatch some eggs and got one 2km egg done.. like fuck man WHAT?
I reported my issue last week and they basically said itās wasnāt an issue at all. They gave me a huge list of why itās wasnāt them and their bug.
I t told me I walked 17 kms but only counted .7 km on my eggs lol

I’ve registered 35ish km the past 3 days in my “week” tracker
I’m at 60km for this week, and have hatched 2 eggs (a 10km and 12km)
Adventure Sync hasn’t worked properly for months now, did a charity 5k and didn’t even hatch the 2k eggs I was hatching at the time

3 weeks ago I did not receive any of the adventure sync rewards. I do about 50+ kms a week. I average 20,000 steps a day so by Friday I am either at 50 km or just below. This week, adventure sync only registered 25 km. Nothing has changed, I do my 20k plus steps daily.
Yeah, i did a massive 20kms over the weekend and it only registered 3.4kms and yes i had adventure sync on
If i see that my kilometers aren’t registered, I usually go into the settings and turn it off, then back on. This has fixed it for me pretty much always.
I remember though, like 2 years ago, AS stopped working and I couldn’t fix it. Even reinstalled completely, but to no avail. Then, after like 2 months, it worked as if nothing happened.
They decided itās in the users interest that they are now charging a 5.99/mo for accurate readings on adventure sync. Sorry
