That’s the kind of things I like to see from big video games companies. I play games from both of you, you don’t need to be mean to each other.
The console wars are over. The green guys admitted they probably didn’t do too well the past generation, and Nintendo and Sony have different enough demographics that they coexist in the gaming space <3 nice to see everyone get along o7

For me as a consumer there wasn’t a war between Nintendo and Sony for a long while.Both companies releases and games compliment each other if you have their consoles.

A Zelda release is an undeniable gaming event, just like a new God of War or Naughty Dog game. I much prefer them congratulating each other on moving the medium forward over the senseless console wars.
And I can’t WAIT to play TotK when I get home! I’ve been on 100% blackout, I’ve only seen the logo so I’m hyped!
Worth remembering that outside of board rooms, the games industry is full of people who love video games and are just as excited about a new Zelda game as you are.

This reminds me of the Animal Crossing and Doom Eternal memes.
Both games were released the same day and instead of making it a competition, both developers supported the others game. I ended up buying both.
I went to Target at lunch and there were excited people buying TotK ahead of me being excited buying it. This is a moment in gaming history many aren’t going to forget.
And here I am, letting my son play it before me and resisting the urge to buy a second switch and second copy 😂

As an Xbox gamer, I’m jealous y’all! I remember beating Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask way too many times as a kid.
Been tempted to get a Switch for this game.
