Did you activate the native refresh rate in the advanced options?
Do you have any other apps/tools installed that may be affecting game performance? “Game tools” app used to directly influence frame rate on my old phone.
Also, is that the icon for power saving in the top left? Generally, by default, that limits screen refresh rate unless disabled by the user.
Charge your phone and see what happens.
