A month’s worth of Zapdos/Articuno encounters using 15 min incense daily at home on my wife’s account and mine. All 9 ran away. We may have even more that I forgot to take pics of. We live in the woods with no stops and barely anything spawns.

Man Niantic must be trolling y’all
Wow I’ve used mine almost every day since they debut and I’ve had 1 single encounter and it fled.
How do you make them spawn without moving?
core concept of a good video game – a good reward feedback loop.
The game need not even give you good rewards but one that actually inflicts this sort of pain.
i mean why release the thing if it only has a 1% rate? why make the player see the reward and then take it away? it just fills everyone with a bitter taste.
Not seen one for months. Only ever seen 3.
Have read reports that windy weather in game improves the chances of encountering them (when using AI), unsure if true or not. Usually rain or cloud here.
