Hello! I’m new to Pokemon Go and I somehow managed to get this 4* shadow Vulpix. I was wondering as an experienced player what your next steps would be such as evolving and was wondering how rare this was? (Also included a pic of my highest CP pokemon for reference of my progress) Thank you all!

It’s very rare. Non WB hundo from the wild/grunt has a rate of 1/4096.
Unfortunately the hundo shadow is not really useful, especially for a new player, but it’s an awesome trophy piece.
However, if you would like, I can link some resources to better understand the shadow mechanic and how to maximize with it
If it stays under 1500 cp when you evolve it then evolve it this was used often at the championship but I think you know this 🤣
Charge your phone
Do absolutely nothing to it and keep it as a 1:4096 full odds hundo. Which in reality is much rarer than that, due to shadows not being a common spawn.
They are very rare. In 4 years or relatively heavy play, I have 1 out of 2,500 shadows.
Power it to 500 and beast the Little Cup.
Transfer it
Purify it and then transfer it

Being experienced, I’d wait to evolve it until it possibly gets a com day, with a special move, then evolve it, power it up, and keep it as a shadow
