I have never been able to tell a shiny Elekid from a regular one without them being labelled
nobody was paid, it was procedurally generated
Edit: After doing some more research, it turns out that they just switched the color palette to the next color

blissey is def a top contender for 2nd place along with the likes of **tyranitar, zapdos** and a few others. the worst shiny in the game, oddly, is **pikachu** imo

I didn’t know what shiny Blissey looked like before evolving so was kind of expecting a similar look as Chancey. I was so disappointed.
With slowpoke it’s literally impossible to tell the diff
Not only Dusknoir not follow the shiny pattern of his previous evolutions, his shiny is also barely noticeable. Way worse than Blissey
I guess Zekrom. From what I can tell it looks like only it’s eyes change. On the other hand I may just be blind.
Also worst as in ugliest I would have probably said bruxish first but I kind of like the pizza fish. Shiinotic on the other hand.
Just a remnant of a bygone era where most shinies were just a pallet swap generated by a simple algorithm. No one got paid money to specifically design that.

Shiny Farfetched is pretty much identical to a normal one. The chest feathers are like 5% darker and that’s it. I had to swipe back and forth to even tell there was a difference…

To be fair I don’t like Pikachu’s shiny form. I don’t like it. I just think it’s a little darker and that’s all and I just don’t like the color, either.

Burmy. All three types are only distinguishable as shiny by the black stars. They make shiny Blissey look like shiny Ursa.
Look at the subtle off-white coloring.
The vast majority of the puke-green shinies make my eyes hurt.

Guess many don’t have one but Shedinja shiny is a damn near match to the regular. Belly color changes slightly.
