Because eevee themes suck. I can’t feed those gyms cause all I’m getting is Eevee candy and xl. I don’t need that and I’m guessing most others don’t either. So yeah the guy putting ttar is smart.

That’s the step dad, who took them in when their mother died shortly before they were due to be married. His selfishness has made him irrespirable to all female pokemon in the monster egg group, and also, surprisingly, the field egg group. Alas, he has no time to date anymore, he has to bring his kids to and from gym every day, which is a big task given that they all now live with seperate trainers.

Sometimes this happens in reverse though, i once took a gym and planted a lone Salamence just to see a bunch of Eeveelutions guarding the mf a few hours later lmao
