Pokemon Go announced their season 10: Rising Heroes. This coincides with the new season of GO Battle League. There are no move updates of consequence. Learn how to win go battle league and hit legend with this channel.
This week is master league and little cup (element cup). Master League Open is level 50 (XL pokemon) and Legendary pokemon. Element Cup is a 500CP little league with only fire, water, and grass pokemon. I have already gone over the top ranked teams for master league. I decided to put both legendary and non-legendary teams together. Like all of these top videos I go over top ranked pokemon from pvpoke. I hit legend with an extremely strong element cup team – shadow vulpix, shadow exeggcute, and ducklett
In this video, I finally enter the Master League with Dragonite, Metagross, and Lugia. Lugia as a nice bulky safe swap.

How about a team around Melmetal? It’s free and great. Wins against most of the dragons, good against even Excadrill as it can tank a drill run but exca has to shield a superpower.
3 superpower kills a maxed out metagross.
I’m at 2700-2800 elo and I’ve seen tonnes of Melmetal teams. Sadly I don’t have a hundo, best I got is 14/15/15.

How is Lugia your only XL legendary… I have a level 51 Kyogre, Groudon, Lugia, and a Tapu Lele lol…. btw if you think Metagross is a beast.. then go ahead and build up a Solgaleo. Solgaleo in Master League is amazing… it has been winning me games and I might actually hit legend this season
This is why I do whatever I can to avoid the Master League… they honestly should make the open Master League a special cup and turn the Master Premier as the permanent league
I think the team for all leagues next season is melmetal, gyarados, shadow swampert.
At 11:00 you look up which pokemon work best with Lugia and Metagross. Is that on PvPoke? Which setting helps you do that?
I played this team last night with very, very mixed results. Saw way too many togekiss leads, and also way too many melmetal closers.
Dragonite lead is officially a liability in the the current meta
I could make this team with a Shadow Metagross i think mines 15/13/15. And i only have 100ish XL for Lugia but mines good. I play 0 ML so it would be fun to give it a go once

I gave up on lugia, i have 322 lugias seen without a single hundo. I did 5 lucky trades and they were all trash iv's. I have 1006XL candies foe it, but not a single one is worth it…
Dragonites superpower against goldenego is only single resisted because fighting is super effective against steel. Both dragon moves and fighting are single resisted

I've been pairing Lugia with Excadrill and Gholdengo on my alt account. Works pretty decent in the 2200s.
Lugia is a hard answer to Dragonite (as you discovered yourself already), Groudon, Snorlax, Kyogre (has a chance but is tough), DT Garchomp.
Lugia is also my only legendary lvl 50. I run it with this exact team, metagross + dragonite are my only non legendaries i have built
i like lugia. i got a shundo on a nice vacation with my gf. that makes the shundo even more special. a shame i will never be able to make it lvl 50/51. Lugias hardest answer is def. melmetal. i have often fought dialga and yvetals that did not respect the aeroblast. the aeroblast + some chip often flipped the match. the melmetal however is rhe only mon that can easily live 2-3 aeros.
I think the same team, but with Metagross lead, would work well. So you'd have a steel, pseudo double dragon team

I want to try this team but i dont have a hundo lugia. I do however have an Apex shadow lugia with iv of 13/13/14. I can purify it to make it a hundo, Should i purify my lugia to get a hundo or does the shadow version works with the team. Pvpoke does rank the non shadow lugia higher than the shadow one.
