576 CP, Ultra, Golden Razz, Excellent Curve, instantly escaped and fled!
Couldn’t complete the task “Battle in a Gym 3 times”! There were too many team mystic gyms and it’s bad when I’m also team mystic 🙁 Next time, I’ll beat the crap out of 5 Gyms to get the Master Ball (more like 30/3 times) !!!
Edit: Lost 2 back to back Galarian Birds today which was another Articuno at 2500+ CP and a 1560+ CP Moltres, only to receive the Master Ball right after defeating some Pokémon in Gyms lol! That’s so mean and unfair not to catch them unprepared without a Master Ball! Very few of the gyms are instinct and valor lol!

I can relate. Psychic is my favorite type and I’m team mystic, and I found a Galarian Articuno with 2500 CP a couple weeks before the master ball was announced. Sometimes it feels like this game just tries to make its players pissed off.

Imagine they make them shiny make the flee rate 100 percent unless you use the master ball make you have the ability to spend 2 dollars for a masterball have the ability to hold as many master balls as you want with out taking up bag space

Isn’t the recommended strategy to dump like 10 balls or so without even trying to hit it and then using a golden berry and ultra ball? I read the “missed” throws are supposed to boost your catch rate when you do hit it.

I’ve had two Articuno encounters since I received my Master Ball. I’m hesitant to use it. For one, I can’t be certain of the IVs of the birds (CPs were nice), and two, I don’t know if I should save for Shadow Mewtoo or another encounter.
