Pokemon Go announced their season 10: Rising Heroes. This coincides with the new season of GO Battle League. There are no move updates of consequence. Learn how to win go battle league and hit legend with this channel.

This week is master league and catch cup: rising heroes edition. Master League Open is level 50 (XL pokemon) and Legendary pokemon. Catch Cup is a 1500CP league with pokemon caught over the last 3 months.

Tyrunt is a rock/dragon typing that can only be described as a glass cannon. The dragon tail and dragon claw add up so fast, even on bulky pokemon. Unfortunately it cannot take much damage. Paired with tentacruel and a great league Tapu Fini.

  1. In reference to your "so many grounds in this meta" comment: yes. I think every team I've faced has had one of the Stunfisks on it. I've been running Hisuian Qwilfish and it does not enjoy this.

  2. Tapu Fini is nice in GL. I used it to reach legend for the first time ever. I went from the middle 2400s all the way up to 2939 with Tapu Fini lead, Gliscor safe swap and Altaria in the back before GL ended. Ended up hitting legend in two sets on GO Battle Day (hadn't played from the end of GL up till that point).

Also it is definitely NOT glassy. It has around the same bulk as Vigoroth. Not tanky, but decently bulky. It only feels less bulkier against 1-turn movies due to its low HP stat.

  3. I got good dunspace not sure should use 100k dust to level it up + secondary move 🤔i got also good fini by trading then third just use a-nine shadow.. two fairy bit risky even they got practically diff secondry typing+moveset. anine more like ice type and fini water. dunspare kinda goodmoveset counter poison types

Hate this rocket event we cant take frustration away.. just 30 min ago find almoust perf iv shadow drapion, but meh cant use it with frustration

  4. Dunsparce/Gfisk core went 14-1 last night because of exactly what you experienced in terms of many things weak to ground moves. Not sure what I'll see when the sets reset though.

  5. Does anyone know how to search for the Pokémon that can be used in this cup?

  6. I was using dragalge for a bit yesterday and then gbl decided everyone has to run stunfisk in the lead lol. Dragon tail from dragalge really add sup with aqua tail

  7. Attack stat has more weight towards overall stat product than defense/stamina. Did a quick comparison between bastiodon and blissey (very similar attack stat and stat product but drastically different defense/stamina) and it looks like def is weighted 2nd highest.

  8. I’m actually loving this catch cup, because it’s kind of a mix of meta and jank, but you can also predict what the meta threats are from what events we’ve had this season. Seeing a loooot of stunfisk and scrafty.
I finally got a good IV toxicroak for GL and it’s been core breaking like every single team in this cup, it’s been fun.

  9. GGs just a little bit ago! Had the Hawlucha,GFisk,Shadow Swamp RPS. Did not expect a Tyrunt haha.

  10. Dan: there’s not many fighters

Yeah but… My team is VERY weak to fighting…. Although we’re close in elo I’ve seen 7 scraft, 2 medi, 3 hitmonchan in the twelve matches I’ve played LMAO “there’s no algorithm, 90%+ is completely normal and “random” now give me your money!”- niantic

  11. This cup really favors people who have been catching and keeping their Pokémon. I had A lot of transfers just recently. Not knowing this cup was coming
