    Orange berry, ultra ball, great or better curve ball throw and a shiny will escape maybe 1 in 5000.

    Niantic does lots of things wrong. This isn’t one of them.

    So I guess the 100% shiny catch rate is confirmed fake, because a couple months ago, I had a shiny burmy (sandy cloak) and cottonee flee.
