    People speculate that Irida is May or Serena's ancestor, and Adaman to be Sycamore's. But I'm not convinced personally

    They should be from after the events in legends Arceus because the call Dialga and Palkia by name instead of saying almighty Sinnoh, but it also it looks like they come from an alternate timeline where Dawn or Lucas never went back in time since it's seems Rei and Akari both exist at the same time where there from instead of it being one of them.
