Pokemon Go announced their season 10: Rising Heroes. This coincides with the new season of GO Battle League. There are no move updates of consequence. Learn how to win go battle league and hit legend with this channel.
This week is master league and catch cup: rising heroes edition. Master League Open is level 50 (XL pokemon) and Legendary pokemon. Catch Cup is a 1500CP league with pokemon caught over the last 3 months.
Galarian Slowking with surf from the slowpoke community day is an interesting pokemon. With the exact same moveset as Jellicent, it is just a worse version given it’s stat product and typing. Paired with fellow poison tentacruel and skuntank. I ramble a lot about pokemon typings in this video.

You do realize that they did buff poison am what happened Nidoqueen that’s what happened!
The buff poison charge moves am fast moves am out of all the poison mons available Nidoqueen was everywhere! Poison don’t need a buff am if they do they had to think about it so Nidoqueen do not come back!
I think poison on average has lower defense overall from the games. Electric on average has higher speed, which is why they are bad in Pokemon Go, since speed doesn't play much of a role or barely any at all due to mechanics of the game. They need to rebalance how stats effect pokemon or give an artificial buff to typings that have lower stat products that actually play a role in the game.
Feels like electric and poison definitely have attack weighted mons more often than the other typings.

Poison and bug are indeed weak types even in the main games. Several people, including those who play competitive on Pokemon tournaments agree with that, you can find videos here on Youtube where people argue both these types needs buffs. In the community there's this common trend about people suggesting the introduction of a new type, for balancing purposes, something that should be weak to poison and bug, and maybe check the stronger types, like Steel, Fairy and Dragon. So not much Niantic can do here, it's a main series issue. Specially considering poison moves are used way more as support moves, or status inflicting moves, and we don't have this kind of mechanic in Pokemon Go.

Triple poison is really tough with all the ground and steel types innthe meta
Tentacruel is super bulky in ultra but ya.. pretty glassy in great league.. if you want a bulky poison type for great league try toxapex
Hit expert for the first time in my 3rd season of pvp woohoo. I wonder if i ever can hit legend 0_0, had so much luck with my catch cup pkm . Gfisk, scrafty, lanturn
In the mainline games only defensive poison types I can think of are:
Weezing, Toxapex, Garbodor, Crobat (sorta), Muk, and Tentacruel.
Best type by far is steel, insane amount of resistances and defensively weighted mons
Stun g lead – medi – scrafty climb 300 +
Steel is definitely the strongest type. It also tends to be the best type for dual-typing. If it weren't for Counter, Steel would have essentially no checks in GBL.

Made it up to 2350, highest I've been, in ultra with Escav-GiratinaA-Walrein, sat out and then when catch cup came around i climbed past 2500 with a rank 7 medicham, high pelipper and decent shadow ANinetails. Replaced peli with lanturn and climbed all the way to 2700. Now just seeing nothing but poison and jelli.
I’ve been running Mandibuzz lead, Seismitoad safe swap and shadow A9 closer. I never shield Mandi and only swap for Lanturn openers or if anyone is running an ice fast move. Would love to see you navigate my line up because it’s been quite fun with all the ground/psychic/steel/poison encounters.
