I’m so torn. Do I purify?



I have never been so split in my entire life. I don’t have a charizard yet and I do have the mega energy to mega evolve…

    Man, I personally wouldn’t. It’s so much more rare to get a shadow with good stats than a normal with good stats especially since they are spawning right now. At the end of the day, the choice will be yours.

    Bud, I had the same IV Shadow-Mander before they gave shadows a stat boost. I figured purified was the right thing to do, and I get a hundo I look at my purified Hundo every day lamenting having purified it. Let it keep the darkness within.

    I also have a 96 shadow charmander. Keep it that way.

    I 100% would purify with zero regrets. Shadows aren’t worth the hype imo

    If you plan on mega evolving, yes. Mega > Shadow > Regular

    I purified my shadow to make it a hundo for the mega, and I don’t regret it. There are better fire attackers and better shadow fire attackers.

    I would only purify if either 1. The shadow is useless, or 2. None of the stat bars are full and it gets it to a hundo. Shadows with stats like this are so much more rare than regulars with good stats, like top comment says

    It’s always a no brainer if there is a mega.

    I only recommend purifying it if you get another shadow charmander with similar iv’s. Shadows with high iv’s are too rare imo
