Pokemon Go announced their new season GO Battle League: HIdden Gems. With this we saw a ton of move updates including buffs to walrein, dunsparce, alolan sandslash, clefable, emolga, and others with a nerf to trevenant.
This week is open great league and ultra league summer cup. Summer cup is a 2500cp league with fire, water, electric, grass, and bug typings.
In this video I look at the top 20 pokemon for summer cup and give you the best team suggestions.

Honestly GL summer cup has been my favourite meta for a while so I will play this.

I’m playing this league since great league is so wide open now it’s so hard to gain elo. Considering your first team with Zekrom instead of galv, debating if I should invest a second move or not.

Buffed Golisopod, Crustle and maybe Buzzwole, triple bug! I've got a shiny Zekrom that might actually be useful though, so maybe triple electric? I just built shadow Zapdos, Buzzwole and Zekrom (shiny) for this, hope they get more use in other cups/leagues.
I feel like XL drifblim could have play here with no outright dark types like umbreon. I imagine Goon may be about but easier to beat. The question is, icy wind or mystical fire?
Edit: My bad didn't realise the fliers only get in on a technicality and flying isn't actually a viable type.
