I think everyone on EARTH is BOUND to really enjoy this direct.

    Edit: Except Mother 3 fans

  2. Dat_Boi_Teo

Not a mini or partner direct, fuck yeah

  3. Runner-Jop

For a moment I saw “prime 4” instead of “pikmin 4” ah well!

  4. Full_Metal18

Hoping that the rumored FE4 remake is real

  5. ascherbozley

I actually, for real, honestly think that some Metroid Prime 4 news could possibly, maybe be in this thing.

  6. MrNintendo13

Can’t wait to see who the new Smash Br… Err, I mean Mario Kart character is

  7. Here we go!

    Switch Pro

    Metroid Prime 5

    Super Mario Odyssey 2

    Mario Kart 9

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Remastered

    Oh almost forgot, Silksong shadow-drop!

  8. insertusernamehere51

This is exciting because I’m fairly certain Pikmin 4 is the only first party game we know of that is still to release, so everything else will be new

  9. MolotovMan1263

Looking forward to Star Fox Grand Prix, Mother 3 Localization, Geist Remastered, Nintendo Switch DD, and Super Mario RPG 2

  10. MarcsterS

A morning Direct this time. That’s around night for Japan, right? Might get some surprises.

  11. triforce4ever

Odds of a surprise release of Metroid Prime 2 Remastered like the first one in February?

  12. UnknownHeroic

Man really want to see what they can show, Metal Gear Collection would be perfect, Zelda dlc i dont knom if it is too soon, Xenoblade 3 dlc physical form ( like Torna ) would be also great, new Pokemon game or remaster ? Metroid 2 remaster ? More Gameboy games ? DS games coming to NSO ? I think im dreaming to much XDDD

  13. hek_qwerr

mannnnn i’m gonna cry for that chrono trigger remake

  14. imlavanow

something hilarious about them just waiting until SGF ends. “Y’all ain’t gettin our shit.”

  15. ZzzSleep

Honestly besides Pikmin 4 and probably the next wave of MK tracks, I don’t know what they’ll cover which is pretty exciting.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Mother 3 will be coming to NSO.

  16. METROID PRIME 4 FOOTAGE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD A DAMN PIXEL OF NEW SAMUS ARMOR IS ENOUGH

  17. Allheroesmusthodor

Everyone: “ It doesn’t make sense to have a full fat Nintendo Direct this summer”
    Nintendo: “King of left turns”

  18. MuptonBossman

SUMMER GAMES FEST IS OVER WHEN NINTENDO SAYS IT’S OVER!

  19. Awesome really didn’t expect a full fledged direct before September

Final fantasy tactics or Dragon Quest 3 HD would be awesome

    Layton news

For Nintendo games, a good mario games and quality remakes would do wonder before a switch 2 next year

metroid prime 4, I’d love to see it but I don’t really believe it’s ready yet,..hell I even expect it to be a cross-gen title

  20. MillionDollarMistake

Holy shit we’re getting an actual direct this summer without needing e3. Nice.

  21. RyuTheDepressedFox

I hope for Side Order news.

And I want a new Star Fox that is actually good (I’d be fine with Adventures and Assault Remastered or Remake). But pls no Star Fox 64 Story reimagined again

Edit: Perhaps a Genshin Impact release date for Switch?

  22. Bhizzle64

Reminder to everyone because there will be inevitable disappointments. If your favorite game doesn’t get shown in the direct tomorrow, it’s not because the time was stolen by the other games that did make it in. Nintendo can make these directs as short or long as they want. If your game didn’t make it in it’s because it wasn’t ready to show.

  23. spidersteph

Please Xenoblade X port or Xenogears. Hell throw in the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy and Windwaker/Twilight Princess ports as well

  24. Substantial_Brain861

With recently released TOTK being such a blast i am totally happy and going in without any expectations. Anything added this year is just a good bonus.

  25. just_a_meerkat

I am devoting all my free time to TotK for the foreseeable future, I have a decent amount of switch games in my backlog after that, I have an embarrassing number of games in my backlog on other systems/through Gamepass. I have so many good games to play still, and yet my stupid lizard brain still lights up with excitement seeing a new Nintendo direct announcement.

  26. erikluminary

Genealogy of the holy war remake and Persona 3 reload, here we go

  27. bummercitytown

I just want to play Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door on my Switch.

  28. Echo1138

There’s got to be something for Mario in this. I’m not saying it’ll be a brand new 3d platformer like Odyssey 2 or anything, but at least a new sports game. I think Strikers Battle League was the last Mario title, so they’ve got to have something planned by now.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a new Zelda remake announced here. Maybe TP/WW will finally get ports to capitalize on the TOTK train. Speaking of which, TOTK’s inevitable DLC is totally being announced here.

Kirby is probably staying radio silent. It hasn’t been long enough since Forgotten Land for them to have a new game ready, and the last remake was fairly recent.

Metroid is a big toss up. Prime 4 has felt like it *could* have appeared in every single direct ever, Prime 2 could be getting a remaster like Prime 1 did, and if it’s an asset flip, Metroid 6 could get announced here. But on the other hand, all of this could just not happen.

Signs point to Fire Emblem getting something here. Engage’s weird release schedule, plus the rumors of a remake mean that perhaps we could finally be seeing that FE4 remake that we’ve wanted for so long.

There’s no way we get a new Xenoblade here, but I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if we got a Xenoblade Warriors game announced. XC has always felt like it would fit the Warriors games well, and it’s been a decent amount of time since the last one, so it’s feasible to imagine a Xenoblade one could get announced.

Pokemon usually likes to announce their stuff in their own directs, so I doubt we’ll see anything about it here.

And that’s pretty much it for the new first party announcements that I could see happening.

  29. MeanBird88

Here for the potential Fire Emblem SNES game English release/remake. Its not gonna happen but I can dream!

  30. Insanepaco247

In my wildest hopes and dreams:

    * Metroid Prime 2 and 3 remasters (or just ports if remasters are fully off the table)
    * Metroid Prime 4 news
    * Fire Emblem collection like 3D All-Stars (I’d also say Zelda and Metroid collections but with a lot of those coming out on NSO or in other forms, those are less likely)
    * Xenoblade Chronicles X port
    * Kid Icarus Uprising port OR new game in a similar style
    * Fatal Frame 2 Wii remaster (also want 3 but the Wii version of 2 ran on the same engine as 4)
    * Ace Attorney 7
    * Layton vs. Ace Attorney port (still salty I only bought a digital copy of this)
    * Ushiro

Also, and people will laugh at me for this, but I feel like we have a better than average chance of seeing an F-Zero game on Switch before all is said and done. I feel like there have been a lot of unusual revivals on Switch, like with Pokemon Snap.

  31. Captain_Nick19

All I want is a port of Windwaker and Twilight Princess. Nintendo….please

    (or Ocarina and Majoras)

  32. Ahh it’s that time of year again to have my hopes dashed about a donkey Kong game.

  33. pissman77

Zelda 3d all stars: windwaker, TP, and the obvious third choice, link’s crossbow training

  34. Coccquaman

Wind Waker and Twilight Princess for Switch have to be revealed in this one, right?

  35. FotherMucker2828

I’m feeling that Wind Waker will be announced tomorrow
