This is absolutely huge. When SE announced this in that anniversary video, I expected it wouldn’t come until 2025 at least. You guys have to give this a chance, the DS games were godlike

This was one of the best parts about this banger of a Direct. I am so ecstatic that we’re getting another DQ Monsters game here in the west. I will be playing this game so hard when December rolls around.

I still hold out hope that DQIX gets a remake/remaster. That was second only to Pokemon Diamond in my childhood, I’d love to revisit it.
That looked… bad. Much worse than Pokemon Scarlet/Violet in terms of bland environments.
Finally, a good Pokémon game
I’ll definitely try it out, especially if SE made it. Dragon Warrior Monsters 1+2 were legendary but much less popular outside of Japan, overshadowed by pokemon. They’re great games, hoping this one is solid.
Good to have an actual release date to look forward to, instead of the nebulous details around the DQIII remake.

I LOVED Dragon Warrior Monsters 1 and 2 and haven’t played many other DQ games. But if this is anything like DWM, I’m gonna HAVE to get this.
End of this year is going to be busy as fuck for gaming.

Is this a remake or new game? I loved DQB2 and found DQ: Treasures so so. How similar/different will these be from these two? If remake, I think I’ll pass and hope for DQB3 or DQ12.
This broke my brain for a minute.
Because Dragon Quest Monsters 3 was Caravan Hearts on the gameboy color or GBA, and they never ported it to the US.
Then they relaunched the series as Dragon Quest Monsters Joker. And Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 was probably the most fun you could have with a 3ds and they never ported it to the US.
Now we get this, the 3rd dragon quest monsters 3. I’d bet a shiny nickel they never port it to English.
It’s a port of an old Japanese only game which is why it looks like this.
As a DQ fan I’m very happy for it, regardless
Not the biggest fan of DQ main line series, but I must say that I LOVE their spin offs! Happy for this one! Played theDS games recently and loved them

Dragon warrior monsters was my religion for a bit as a kid. Had to convert all my Pokémon friends. Love both series, but always felt sad this series didn’t get the same kind of fan base. Real excited to give it a go, especially after playing more dragon quest games in the intervening years.
This art is really killing the game for me. I have grown fond of the monster collection genre over the past few years and this title just looks like a step backwards.
Plenty of other games to play I suppose.
