I grabbed the Regi and have no regrets.
He had regiice last season and will likely have registeel next one – might as well grab the set. It’ll be ages before anything particularly interesting comes up.
Regirock is the least worse of the three shadow Regis, but I will skip it anyway.
Is extremely weak on raids because it’s fast move deals no damage, so a regular Tyranitar is 50% stronger already. And the defense drop from the shadow form makes it very frail.
Something like shadow Tyranitar, Rampardos, Rhyperior, Mega Aerodactyl or simply Gigalith can leave it in the dust in terms of usefulness. Even the not-so-great shadow Aggron with its slow moves is a much better pick.
Its only real use is on PvP, where is not as bad as shadow Registeel or Regice. It gets a bit of an advantage in some battles, but loses even faster in others. So it’s a double edge sword that not many would use.
In general it’s more of a trophy with some niche uses, and not a very good shadow compared to many others.
How do you fight giovani? I can never find him.
Since I already have one, I’m not going to fight him. And I wasn’t aware that team go rocket takeover was going on until I looked at the today tab in the game and saw it, but couldn’t find anything about if Giovanni was there or what legendary he was using. Thank you
