Sylveon’s great and a hard good hitting fairy type. Espeon is good too but there are much better psychics that are relatively easy to get. Plus Slyveon’s shiny is iconic (:

Personally I like the Umbreon as a shiny because I have it as a shiny.
The only issue is if you are planning on using Umbreon in GBL. If you do you really need a 4* Eevee (shiny or otherwise) and complete the best buddy thing so Umbreon’s CP is as close as possible to the 2500 CP limit.
I do have a 4* Umbreon for GBL even though I avoid GBL like the plague.

I have both Umbreon and Sylveon as shinies and, honestly they are nice, but I think I’d rather Leafeon or Flareon. Vape and Espe are gross to me, same with jolt. Umbreon is subtle but good understated, Sylveon is a nice twist. But I like the darker tints to Leaf and Flare.
