They’re going to be used in the incoming showcases on certain stops. People will place Pokemon there and the smallest/largest will get a prize after a certain time. It’s a new feature that’s being tested so not much is known.

There are Pokémon showcase coming soon which will give you rewards for putting Pokémon of different species and dimensions in them. You can see the contest tab of you scroll to the bottom in the today tab, but there’s nothing there yet
Edit: if you transfer an xxs or xxl Pokémon to scarlet/Violet it will be either the smallest or biggest size possible in that game and will be eligible for the mark corresponding to it

Here and now… no. But they did test a new feature in N.Z a few weeks ago where you can “showcase” your Pokémon. Biggest or smallest got premium items.
Save em if you like, they may do something someday soon.

You can earn a medal for them. That’s only useful after level 40, when you need certain quantities of certain medals to proceed.
Otherwise, no advantages.
Not currently. Shiny Pokemon also don’t “have a use” either but are fun to collect.
Contests pretty much. Catching them counts towards certain medals such as Tiny Pokémon Collector, Jumbo Pokémon Collector, and that one XXL Rattata medal.
If you send them to pokemon scarlet/violet they are as big / small as their species can be and are eligible for a mark and title to indicate they’re really big / small.
Yes, they give you one candy when you send them to Willow for analysis.
There’s 4 “uses” for XXS / XXL Pokémon.
1. Pumpkaboo/Gourgeist has different base stats.
2. They show as different sizes while being your buddy / on the encounter screen (cosmetic).
3. They count towards the [Tiny Pokémon Collector](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/374633853119102978/1125080487342383254/Screenshot_20230702-110746.png) and [Jumbo Pokémon Collector](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/374633853119102978/1125080487589855332/Screenshot_20230702-110749.png) medals.
4. They will be used in Pokémon showcases to win various prizes.

Upon release, only 1. was a factor. Since release they’ve added 3 other reasons for the sizes, so in the future there may be more as well.

It’s not the size but how you use it
I usually transfer them so I guess I’ll try to limit it but there’s one Lillipup I refuse to transfer because it’s so extra extra small and so cute! Lol

The XXS have great personalities. The XXL are preferred by most trainers, but most trainers will say the size doesn’t matter, but if they are saying that to your Pokémon then your Pokémon is XXS and the trainer probably had an XXL in the past, but is ok work you settling down for now. Aside from that, not really sure 🤷♂️
Smol and chonky
Personally, I’d be much more inclined to keep these Pokémon if the size did something neat. Imagine larger Pokémon had a chance to crit with each charged attack, and smaller Pokémon had a change to dodge incoming charged attacks. This would probably be best for raids and not PvP.
