I’m actually and quite possibly irrationally angry at this. Why should I need to depend on a third party app to sign in??
I don’t have a google account, or Facebook, and I really don’t feel like dishing over my personal information to yet another shitty company so a totally different shitty company can allow me sign onto their shitty app.
So as it stands I missed community day. And are they going to make it up to me, or fix their shitty app? I’m not holding my breath.

This is entirely a problem with the Pokemon Company’s authentication servers. Not Niantic.

Lol people crying about not wanting to use an Gmail bc they do not eat to give anyone information.. while playing pokemon go while propably having multiple social media apps like Instagram, tikyok Facebook etc… and using Amazon etc. All those sell and have all uour data. and even without those apps, just having a phone means someone has uour data. Jesus christ.
Sure it sucks. But all those conspiracy theories that this is intentional… Niantic is just incompetent that’s all. Just get the bloody Gmail and be done with it. Or stop playing this game if you hate it and Niantic so much
