Palina does have modern day descendants. She has the same hair as Professor Magnolia, and by extension she's an ancestor of Sonia.
There's also speculation that Marlon is a descendant of Iscan.
I like to think that masters ex is its own timeline which explains why both protagonists are there

Volo prob won't be in I think. His story is done. His goal is the mighty impossible, although we need more info on where he came from and how he got to where he was in the climax imo.
One spin-off character I'd find interesting to see in Masters is Purple Eyes. In sharp contrast to Volo, he actually got to meet up with Arceus. It didn't go very well. Would he learn humility after Arceus dragged him to another world? Or would he end the same as Volo?

I am literally broke, so I’m probably not going to get any of them, but I am personally begging for Beni to come. If he does, I am rolling for Adaman, Volo and Beni. But I find it a bit of a shame that you can only interact with Adaman, and not Irida.
The Japanese voice actors did more justice and I really love how Irida and Adaman are pretty much like an old husband and wife.

I hope we actually get to learn something about Adaman this time. Irida got a full character arc and a tragic backstory while Adaman only got the reveal of being Mai's younger brother (not related by blood) and the implication that his grandfather was leader of the clan before him but absolutely zero growth

Adaman's already in the lodge and fun fact: His entire "A day with _____" story is about him wanting to learn how to use a Poryphone.
He's already learning and it's not long before he finds the simps on the internet
you gotta admit adaman and irida deciding to settle in the future together is such a married couple move
If they do bring Rei or Akari, which would be the time traveler, and which would be the local? Masters was able to get away with having both genders of the same protagonists since they have the same origin but not the case for Rei and Akari. Even though Masters is soft canon, making them sync pairs would make which is the real protagonist a little more official.
It’ll be cool to see Irida and Adaman meeting the descendants of the people they knew. And maybe even Ingo

I suspect that Adaman and Irida would initially panic upon seeing the player going against Team Galactic. However, once they learn that Team Galactic and the Galaxy Team are TWO SEPARATE enti, they might side with the player.
I really hope they don't debunk the theory/implication that the PL:A player is Lucas/Dawn after DPPt/BDSP.

I hate Palina and Iscan so I hope it's not them, I'd really want Ingo, but other than him Arezu and Cogita would be my picks
