If your thinking about buying this don’t

According to the description it’s running on Frostbite now like the new Fifa games, where FIFA 23 legacy didn’t.
It also has Volta now too, so it’s clear you will be getting new content.
Still seems bare bones kinda. I’ve put like 150 hours into FIFA 23 and really enjoyed it. So if they update the engine with the gameplay improvements, include Volta and update the career mode it’s an easy buy, and I’d say if you like football and want it on switch getting this will be a no brainer

It only took 7 years…
But I’m curious to see how it will look on the Switch, mainly because they prioritize 60fps, as much as we mock FIFA ironically, the latest ones are a great example of how to use the new generation hardware the right way.
I’m not a huge FIFA fan, but my brother and nephews are, I’m so glad they’re finally making the effort to deliver a decent version for the Switch.

They finally decide to not do a legacy version when they got rid off the FIFA branding is funny to me.

the pitch at the end looked terrible

I only used to play Fifa games on the PS4 for fut, never owned one on Switch but am I right in saying there’s no companion app for the switch version?

No legacy edition but also $20 more expensive

If this really will be Frostbite running on Switch, I’m excited to check it out.

Saw FIFA 23 on sale and decided to give it a go as I really enjoyed football games when I was younger and even if it’s a 5 years old game, I’m not getting anything better as the Switch is my only gaming device. I’m having a lot of fun, but I was really missing the career mode. If it’s ported somehow decently to the Switch, I’ll definitely buy this one.
