    That’s crazy do you play in a rural area? I do daily hour long walks and have caught 6 shinies this week, probably helps I’m in a city

    Obviously about as casual a player as you can be if it’s your first shiny in a year. Not knocking you, but shinies aren’t THAT rare.

    so happy for you!!! Lotad is one of my favorite Pokémon—it’s probably the only Pokémon I will ALWAYS click on/catch no matter what just to try to find a shiny or high IV lol

    I’ve always felt uncomfortable about shiny Lotad. Just seems a bit of a misfire from pokemon.

    I’m starting to think shinies don’t exist in this game because even during community days I have never come across/caught a single one. Not one.
