Yup, I have all three, though Articuno was Master Ball just to complete the set.
The secret is sucking at the game. Golden razz, ultra ball, rain on screen so you fuck up the throw and don’t even score a “Nice!”
Some would call it RNG, but not me. I know the trick. Be bad.

I caught a Moltres using the ball waste method. Gently toss a boss to the side and wait like 5 seconds. Then do it again. And again. Like 11-15 times and it supposedly raises their catch rate. May have been fixed by now, circumstantial evidence that it works- maybe…but Kruse Ship did it once in a video and it worked so I tried it and it worked. Ofcourse another time it didn’t work…I think I played it safe and threw like 20-25 bad throws cuz I lost count because I was nervous, but…High CP lowers the chance of catching it too I think. Ofcourse also use the best ball you have and golden razzes.

I has enough encounters with these … (4 shiny btw ) and all ran away with perfect throws Best berries etc. I just Threw the Blue Ball as soon as i has it. Was Sick of it 🤷🏼♂️

My friend caught a Zapdos with a regular poke ball and a silver pinap on a regular curved throw no excelllent, no great, no nice throw. I was very angry at them

I’ve seen 2 zapdos within 3 days this week, have however had nothing else the whole time they’ve been out. First one escaped so I master balled the next one.

I’ve got an articino and a Moltres, damn zapdos will not stay tho, and I refuse to use the one and only masterball. I’ve seen like 20 of all of them combined and got 2

Only caught Moltres with the masterball. I’ve seen 2 moltres, 3 articuno, and 5 Zapdos over the course of what feels like a year. I think I saw 3 zapdos before any of the other birds and now I haven’t seen it in a long time. Almost immediately after I got the masterball, articuno appeared, but I wanted Moltres so I didn’t throw it. Moltres showed up like 3 weeks later.

I got one the hard way, take notes on your throws with each one. For me, Articuno is a 5/10 distance, easy up the middle. Only throw when they are lower, err on the high side.

A Galarian Moltres popped up for me. If you don’t get it on the first throw, they’re gone. So yeah, I think you either have insane luck, or have a master ball

I’m a very casual player and I managed to get an Articuno. To give you an idea of how casually I play, I have only ever caught a total of 12 pokemon using the adventure incense, and one of them happened to be Galarian Articuno. I had absolutely no idea that it was super rare or hard to catch until I saw a bunch of posts like this on the subreddit.
I was taking my car for an oil change and caught it in the waiting room.

Yes 2 zapdos and 1 moltres without the masterball (wasn’t ingame at that time). The zapdos both weather boosted with over 3k cp. 1 was golden rasp and excellent and the other was a total wiff completly missed the great throw and it was a 1% critical catch… (my innerself said good bye to both).
