Gothic 1 and 2 are such great games. One of the few open world games were the world really felt lively. Outside of controls which take a bit of time to get used to these games hold up well. Will be interesting to see how it controls on the switch.
Gothic Classic is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 28th, 2023 and they also made a lot of fixes for the nintendo swich version:
I’m hoping for multiple languages, plus maybe the ability to change the lighting system to the old one. As much as I liked to play once with DX11 on PC, I’m still so nostalgic for the old lighting, especially because it gave certain areas a completely different feel than the “realistic” one.
That said, I don’t care that much, I’m getting my 5th copy of Gothic 1.
