The amount of time given to the apps is really mind boggling. The pokemon company is completely out of touch

There’s a COUPLE things in this I legit like – customisation of the DLC2 room among them, photo missions as well (where is a ZOOM function tho??).
New poke forms – some look very weird, but Dipplin is hillarious; and new forms always appreciated.
In any case – I am VERY curious if they’re gonna yet again completely ignore the elephant in the room with these DLC’s:
Zero attempt to level scale trainers.
Basically Scarlet/Violet motivates us to train BOXES full of Lv100 mons for Tera Raids.
And now we’re gonna get a batch of trainers with mons no higher than Lv65-70 and we’re supposed to self-restrict ourselves per usual to have any challenge?
NO. It’s YOUR job, Gamefreak, to balance your game, no matter how you do it.
(I am almost sure they’re gonna F it up again)

I am so incredibly disappointed. The announcement of these games got me big into pokemon again, but the endgame is nonexistant, and this looks like a lot more of the same.
Feels like the competitive battling scene is being abandoned by the company.

Can’t believe how worthless this is. No battle facility, no returning features, just more baby’s first rpg game play and a couple new Pokémon. Stay classy, game freak.

Genuinely impressive how empty this game’s open world is. People say it has potential if they performance was good, but the bland, empty world and boring towns with no interiors would still be there. This DLC doesn’t look like much of an improvement either.

It’s so weird to see Nurse Joy working in what is essentially a gas station. Especially in the snowy/tundra regions of the map. You’d think they’d give her a sweater, but then again, this Gen barely gives us the option to take off our own school blazer.
And now this DLC gives us…2 outfits? Say what you will, but at least Kalos looked gorgeous, and had actual clothes. The people in Paldea look so gross.

Got a switch lite today . Considering everything I’ll just get Brilliant Diamond I think. Or shining pearl . I’ve already gone through scarlet once with my cuzs switch . Really not looking forward to the experience again.

I’d say Gamefreak has about 2 more shots before the Pokemon series truly starts to suffer sales wise.
Based on tracking data, they must realize the majority of Pokemon players are past teenage years- SWSH had a lot of valid criticism, so does Scarlet and Violet.
Will they learn or has it become the new Sonic?

I’ve been playing every generation since red and blue at the age of fkn 4, the last like 4 generations of games that have come out have been less and less finished with scarlet and Violet absolutely taking the entirety of the icing on that shitty ass cake with its awful awful performance in every single way. At the same time the features in the game are extremely less than previous generations.
It is a joke what they released, and now they are releasing extra shit on top of their pile of garbage to make it even fkn stinkier. The dlc NO MATTER WHAT should be free with the vomit they released, but we damn well know it isn’t, even if it was it wouldn’t make up at all for what a piece of shit the game is.
