So I’ve finally found my first route, and I get to what I believe is the end but I’m not sure how to complete it so I leave. It kept track of my distance for the whole day until just about now and the routes been paused. As you can see it says 56,353 /809 m. If I go back to that route will it give me like a ton of zygarde cells or something??

Nah, you get at most 3 cells on any route and you had to find them while walking the glowing path. That extra distance will only increase the time others see when you check how long it takes to finish the route.
