Bunch of crap that these things can just run away. I used my only remote raid pass to try and win the raid and this is what I’m rewarded with.

The game will not automatically give you everything. You have to put effort both into practicing throws to land excellents consistently and to prepare golden berries before you raid.
Part of the game is luck, but most of it is skill. Considering how many people post their catches around here, if you want to prevent Pokemon from fleeing you need to practice more.
