I was lowkey expecting MP3 but I’m super excited for this since I love racing games, love Excitebike but never played this one. This one seems to come off as less Excitebike/the SNES/Wii ones and more of a typical late 90s-mid 2000s dirt bike game, which I played a ton of in my childhood (MX vs. ATV, Motorcross Mania/Madness, etc) so I have no qualms whatsoever with seeing what this one’s like.

It’s crazy that we’re just short of a year since the big “new games coming soon” announcement last September and we’re still waiting on two of the games

Nothing against excitebike 64, but when there are other games that hold much more appeal and Nintendo is obviously holding back on them it makes their library seem uninteresting.
Still holding on to my theory that they are saving DK content for 2024 to line up with the DKC expansion to the theme park in Japan. Probably whenever the next DK game is announced in a Direct, about that time, we will get the DK64 and/or Diddy Kong

Excitebike 64 has a custom track maker. Weird that the commercial didn’t showcase this at all. I’d think some people are really into doing custom tracks.

I bought “Paperboy” around 16-17 years ago for Xbox Live Arcade. No longer available since who knows when. Would be nice if Nintendo could get rights to (if don’t have already) and add to Online service.
