There is more… if you buy the ticket
There’s more for ticket holders. A huge pile of raid passes, the hourly challenges for boosted dust/catch candy/catch xp, etc.

Go fest even with the 15 dollar ticket. Is seriously lacking. Like ill never buy it again. Its absolutely garbage
No daily raid limit….. so spend money!
If youāre a ticket holder and you complete the challenges you can get 4x stardust and 4x xp.

Without a tickets the game is a snoozefest. Esp with the heat. Im in The middle of hour 3 and legit closed the game and heading home with zero shinies and iām annoyed by it and more importantly indifferent.
Update: walked to my car into hour 4 with the idea that if i caught a shiny iād turn aboutā¦ didnt happen. Back home and chilling indoors.
Aside from the chance to add a new shiny pikachu to my collection i have zero regrets.
This event isnt for casuals. Indifference is a scary thing. It breeds apathy and then leads to deletion. Was halfway there with the Riolu event.

did they even increase shiny odds? i keep seeing shorts of people showing off like 8 shinies they caught during this event but i haven’t seen one yet, unless its ticket only?

One thing you NEED to do on Sunday – start the game, maybe do a catch, whatever. Opening the game on Sunday is supposed to give you a special research that will make it possible to mega evolve ONE Rayquaza (but presumably you still have to raid for energy?). Ticket holders also get a second research that gives another of the evolution items.
I thought there would at least be collection medals for each habitatš¤·š¼āāļø

Day 1 was actually dope. I bought the pass for myself and my son we were out from start to about 2 and cleaned up nicely.

Atleast you get catch candy buffs and stuff from the community challenge, but i dont even know if you get those without the ticket. (i have the ticket so i didnt know for sure)

They should’ve discounted remote passes. Would have been so nice. But Niantic would never.
I didn’t buy the ticket and saw a list of other things appearing, especially concerning raids. It wasn’t spectacular, but it was something.
The ‘perk’ you post is quite a weird one. It’s like posting ‘we removed the limit of the amount of money you can give us’.
Got a 96% shiny groudon, 89% shiny kyorge, 98% shiny cowboy hat snorlax and a shiny whismur without a ticket in 2-2 1/2 hours. I’m gooood
