I caught hundo rayquaza early in the morning so I started to GRIND that XL Candy, I walked about 12 miles from gym to gym doing in person raids, and near the end I tripped and landed on my ankle and I’m pretty sure I fractured it 😭 gotta go get X-rays later. But hey, I still got that hundo level 50

I got the Hundo in person yesterday, then the shiny whilst remoting for the XL candy, only got about half :/
I got 500 xls so idk (43 normal candy for 1 raid)
I was short 6 xl candies by the end of the day. I got my hundo ray via remote the night before things started in my time zone, mega evolved him as soon as I got my first meteorite in order to get more candy/xl when I did all my in person raids
Ouff xrays in the US also. Sounds expensive
I’ve been playing since day 1 and I’ve seen two 100s never been lucky to score one from a raid.
It’s not best buddy yet. Get it excited each day and walk 20km, you’ll get 200 mega energy and up to 2 XL per day like that.

Look at the attack charts. Mega Rayquaza even without weather boosts CRUSHES any other Pokemon with any other add-ons, boosts, 4xweaknesses, etc. Is that worth a broken ankle?

How is Lawrenceburg for event raiding? I’m in Harrison which sucks as there’s no good concentration of gyms. I went to Fairfield and it was pretty good with plenty of players active. I used my free daily raid pass and got me a shiny one from my first mega raid. Only a 2 star, so while I’ll keep it forever, I doubt if I’ll do any upgrading to it. As I learn more about raiding and how events work, and reading the horror stories from the people doing remote raids, I’ll be searching for the best local areas for future events
