Lv 1 catches are significantly easier than higher level catches. [Up to a 35% chance to catch if you do all the things, platinum medals, golden razz, ultra ball, excellent curve ball.](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/847524209282252832/1041222133658951750/image0.png) As soon as the bird passes level 5, the rate is already below 14% for all the same quality of a throw, and that Moltres is level 5.
TBH, that lv 1 Articuno is worth way more from a trade bait standpoint, too.
I’m sure you don’t realize just how lucky you got to get a lv 1 bird.

OK GUYS ONE OF THEM COULD’VE BEEN A DITTO BECAUSE DITTO HAS A 2% SPAWN RATE BUT GALARIAN BIRDS HAVE LESS SPAWN RATE THEN DITTO AND THE MEW TASK NEEDS TO CATCH A DITTO LIKE WHY CAN’T YOU GIVE ME A DITTO GAME

Nothing unlucky here imo. Everyone sees the birds every now and then. Nobody catches them (w/o master ball). Having the Moltres run away on you is not unlucky it’s just what you should expect. Catching the Articuno on the other hand is v lucky.
