Basic maths tells us that the goals of these tasks are achievable in the time frame:
– a raid a day
– (at least) two kilometres walking to be able to hatch enough 2km eggs with the default incubator
– 2 field research tasks each day
– Etc.
For what we can assume will be a Master Ball as a reward.
But the people that need a Master Ball most won’t be the ones that can achieve these tasks they are remote, isolated users that love Pokémon but have limited access to real world in game friends, pokestops and Gyms.
For the record I doubt I will have any issues completing it, I am just sad at the state of the game and the lack of thought directed towards rural and the casual players.
Just feels like a big “eff you” to a lot of players.

Apart from the raids, everything else seems easily achievable for free to play casuals.

I’ll admit as a new player this year, its a bit daunting – however, I’m keen for the discipline. Just put in how many days left on the task, and fill out your progress so far and it will return how many you need to complete per day or per week based on your current completion. Hopefully its helpful to someone – definitely breaks it into more achievable numbers for me 🙂

To be fair the hardest thing is the raids.
Eggs aren’t too difficult.
Pokémon, xp and stardust are easily to do.
And the research should be easy as long as you have several pokestops you can visit

I can complete everything here but the raids. I raid but not THAT heavily. 60 raids is a lot for my gaming style. Still got my first masterball stashed away regardless
Honestly, I understand why it’s difficult, as a master ball should be on the harder side to obtain due to what it is. However, making the research timed is counterproductive and doesn’t really make much sense at all
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t feel it’s unfair for a Masterball. I like the challenge and nothing stands out as impossible with some of the events happening and whatnot 🤷♂️
It isnt really casuals. Id agree, except they made raids part of it. Guess they really do want rural players to use thosw remote raid passes they insisted were bad for the game, at double the price.
