Can’t wait to break a $165 pair of joy cons
Kike328
why anyone would want to spend 165$ in something which will have drift in less than a year?

6.5 times the price of of the game

$165, for a historically fragile peripheral, for a console that is getting replaced in the next year or so, advertising a game that had 15 minutes of fame a year ago but most people haven’t thought about since. Let’s see how this goes.

I do not get why the game has gotten as big as it has. The combat is so mid compared to other rogues

Kinda weird to see limited edition controllers for a relatively obscure indie game. (Obscure in the sense that your average switch owner has probably never even heard of it.)
The price point is the cherry on top, though. I could damn near buy a Dualsense Edge or whatever the pro Xbox controller is called for $165.
Even as somebody who collects games (and some accessories) for Switch, this one makes little to no sense to me. And even when it’s not something I don’t like, I can typically find *some* kind of appeal for *somebody*.

Custom shells should not bring the cost of the overall thing to double the amount. At that point I would put the shells on myself. Pass.

This is such a waste. Not only are they way overpriced but the bit of the game I played 2 months ago felt very jittery while in the main camp.
Work on the game’s performance some more instead of making weird add-ons no one will use.

This game kinda sucked on Switch. I’m sure they updated it to run better, but damn it ran like an old jalopy running on vodka on the Switch. But it was enough for me to put it down for good.

Official special edition joycons are $80. Why are unofficial replacement shells twice as much?

I purchased a set of joycons from this guy back when the Pokémon gold and silver pair went viral. The paint rubbed off within a month on the gold side. Reached out to him about it but he never responded. The silver one held up til now and I still rock it on my switch to this day. So I guess it just depends on the paint used. Just some context if anyone’s thinking of buying. It’s hella expensive but for someone like me who’s never experienced joycon drift it’s a little cool to have a set almost nobody else you run into will have on their switch. I’d probably wouldn’t buy a second pair tho.

Shame they couldn’t make the game not run like absolute garbage on the switch at launch

How isl the performance of this game now?
