180 ish days. But on the day it died, my other Pokémon had already died, so i got nothing
On that screen the time is how long any of your mons have been in that that gym not that particular one.

I had once meltan stuck in gym for almost 11 months.. Back then it was my only meltan.
Some gyms have been removed from the game and the pokemon in them are lost to never be returned. Account holders can do nothing except watch the timer go up, for years.

There is a hitmontop in a club I go to and I started playing this year, when I first saw the gym it was red or something, but then next time it was yellow with a hitmkntop
That hitmontop has now been there for 156 days 💀

I saw a pokemon stuck in a gym for a year
Currently 359 days. A few more day and it will be a full year
I was in southern Mexico for work, very rural area, put a girafarig in a little church a few miles outside the nearest town where we only had phone signal about a third of the time we drove by. It was the 4th Pokemon in the gym, took a few weeks for the gym to fill, and then was there about 3 months before it was knocked out. I know others here have far longer records but it was sort of neat to see how long it lasted (also wasn’t a pokemon I otherwise would have been using so no problem)

About to shatter that PR with 3 mons I left in Antigua a month ago. All 3 gyms are exactly how I left them, no other mons added.

I’m at 91 days at a gym in rural Wisconsin.
None. I have a second account i made a few months ago to kick myself out of the gym. 50 coins every day ever since. I HIGHLY recommend doing that.
I also traded 1500 pokemon with myself during last guaranteed XL candy on trade event. 1500more XL candy on pokemon that matter is a HUGE difference. I wouldve grinded for years longer to ever get this far. Never again without it.

I had a wheedle in a gym for 2 years it was in a very small town with like 3 houses i don’t even know why there was a gym there I was just stopping on a road trip
Whoa! I really wish you’d just get 50 coins at the end of each day until your kicked out. Just sucks that after all that time you’d still get only 50. Or even 0 of another was kicked out that day.

303 days, was on holiday in some outskirt town, kicked out a mon that was in there for some 700 days.. so i kinda assumed it’d be a while, looks like it has a new friend – a shiny sableeye
