How do i catch a galarian bird



I need serious help cause i want a zapdos. an articuno and a zapdos stayed one time but then ran. i always use ultra balls and golden razz but can’t always get the excellent

    Just feel lucky enough to even be seeing these birds and feel even luckier the day you do catch one lol earn the master ball and use that the next time you see one, once you have it you probably won’t be lucky enough to see them anymore but it’s only one for now so choose wisely…

    Try to get ur medals to platinum, throw excellent curves + ultra ball + golden razz + pray lmao. I’m sure you’ve heard it before but the 90% flee rate and 0.3% base catch rate is wildly low, the highest it gets is around 30% with a level 1 Galarian bird, platinum medals, golden razz, ultra ball and excellent curve. You’ll catch one eventually and it’ll be on a terrible throw

    Is there some certain trick to getting these guys to pop up when you use your daily incense? I’ve tried for almost the past month and haven’t had any luck.

    So, here’s the trick. When it pops up on you incense, immediately go to Ultra ball and Golden Razz.

    Then look around. Locate the nearest church. Run in there and pray for a solid 5 minutes. But that’s not it.

    Next go outside and locate the nearest mosque. Head inside and pray to Allah for assistance as well.

    Repeat this with the nearest synagogue.

    Following all of this, make sure you land an Excellent Curveball and then wave as it still runs away.

    Hope you find one with lower cp. Lower cp is easier to catch. I got my articuno around 600cp.

    People suggesting the master ball but personally I’d save it. At the very least, if you use it on a zapdos you know when you finally catch a bird in an ultra ball it’s gonna be the zapdos lol

    The other day I had a Moltres encounter pop up on the way to the train station and it disappeared again before I could tap it. Damn… I don’t think I should get my hopes up with one of these. XD

    One time I caught a Galarian Zapdos with a master ball and a golden razz but it was 0 stars I still kept it tho bc why not

    Luck.

    I’ve seen probably about 15 or 20 in total, caught an articuno with my special ball and last week I saw both a moltres and a zapdos right after eachother. Moltres ran, caught zappie with a regular ball.

    Easy. Create three alt accounts grind them till you catch the three birds with the master ball then trade them to your main account.

    If I can ever get articuno to show itself again I plan on using my master ball for it. Love that purple birb

    I caught a 347 articuno with a terrible throw, gold raz and a ultra ball, caught a moltres with my masterball after it didn’t flee from a golden raz excellent ultra ball throw, and I’ve hit at least 5+ excellent throw golden raz ultra balls on Zapdos and it’s fled everytime.

    When I hit it on a 47 cp Zapdos and it shook once I thought I was about to have the g trio but noOoO it fled

    Luck or a Master Ball. I got lucky a couple times. Always aim for a Great or Excellent throw and use the Golden Razz Berry and an Ultra Ball. The best shot you have is doing the Daily Incense every day. I find a long straight road works best because you can keep up the pace and make sure you get as many Pokémon to spawn during your fifteen minutes. This increases your odds of finding them more often. There a seasonal Timed Research to get a Master Ball right now, too, so check that out.

    I once saw a level 1 articuno. Golden Berry Ultra Ball Excellent throw. Still didn’t catch it. Then I caught a 1900 approx moltres with a nice throw. It’s luck.

    Have you tried birdseed under a box propped up with a stick. My friend Wile was testing a similar setup for roadrunners. Never got back to me on if it worked

    I’m waiting til the game gives us a 3rd master ball (currently grinding for the 2nd one) before I resort to those. For now I’m just assuming I won’t catch them, that way there’s no disappointment

    I got moltres today first try with a gold raz and ultra ball, I’m sure the 47CP and zero star rating had nothing to do with that
