I’m glad this game seems to be doing well. This is going to be the next game I play.
Very fun and lovingly made game. There are some shortcomings here and there, but overall, it is a very welcome game on the year.

This game really has made me rethink how I view gaming.
When I was a child, I used to escape into Chrono Trigger. We didn’t have many games and I was lucky to have a SNES. Chrono Trigger was something I’d play over and over again. I loved the world, I loved the characters, I loved the story. I loved the way the game made me feel, the evocative music, and the bittersweet feeling of not wanting it to end.
No game has ever made me feel that way again, until Sea of Stars. I’m in the last area, and I don’t want to finish it. I want it to go on forever. The game has made me laugh, cry, smile, and reflect.
This team deserves all the praise and profits from this game. It’s a masterpiece through and through. It’s reminded me why I love gaming.
It’s free on PS+ and those count as sales right?

Tossed a coin between this and Pikmin. Had my eye on it for a year so deffo once I get paid.
I beat this yesterday and I absolutely adored it. It has the best turn based combat I’ve ever played, its sprites are beautiful, and the story and characters both shine. I highly recommend it if you’re considering it.

I’m waiting on my physical version but am very happy they ALSO gave people who did the crowdfunding a digital key on release so we do not have to wait months and months to play.

I love this game on gamepass, since it’s indie I really want to support it, if a physical version for Xbox exists I’m going to get it, if not I’ll buy it digitial.
I ended up buying it instead of just playing it through my PS+ sub. Want to support the small devs.
I’m broke as shit right now and have a couple things I’m finishing first, but I 100% will be joining that crowd, I loved the demo, I loved what I’ve seen of trailers/gameplay, and I loved The Messenger, so I will be joining this number soon

I feel like the game is ten times better if you’ve played the messenger first. Though you don’t actually need to play that to enjoy sea of stars, all the connections and stuff are SO good
I’ve only played the first 90 minutes or so, but I REALLY get the nostaligia vibes from it. I’ve seen comparisons to Golden Sun and Lufia 2, and get it. If at the end of the game it doesn’t replace Chained Echoes for top JRPG of the year for me I’ll be surprised.

Been playing this guy. its a bit of fun, I suspect I will be getting to the first zinger part of the storyline soon. It might be a bit too sterile, we have 2 boys and a girl who are all late teens at least.. and not a single hormone amongst them.
The game has to much casual damage and I really liked the option given to you from the start that heals you after every battle (reminds me of ff13) but I am disappointed it is merged with a %100 hp increase mod, that makes things a little too easy.
It’s a really great game, they deserve it!
