✨ Transfer Shinies?



I have around 50 shiny Squirtles and am debating on transferring most of them. Is there any reason to hold on to them? Are there ever any bonuses for transferring shinies?

    There’s no real reason to hold onto more of them, keep as many as u want. There are events that give 2x candy for transferring Pokémon, but (to my knowledge) there have never been any bonuses for catching or doing anything with shinies

    you can also make a pokémon home and transfer them there!! 🙂

    i keep all the comm day shinies for random special trades. I’d reroll the ivs & if it isn’t better than the shiny one you have currently, transfer

    Trade them with a friend in order to get a lucky friend.

    Transfer some outside of PoGo (this will count as s normal transfer and the game will give you some candies. However you will not be able to get them back to PoGo.

    Transfer some to Pokemon LGPE

    Transfer them to Pokémon Home :
    – Keep some there
    – Transfer some to Pokémon S/S, BDSP and SV
    – Trade some with the Wonder Box, you’ll make people happy
    – Trade some with other shinies by adding friend-code (you could use them on the Switch games or complete the Home Pokédex)
