My general rule of thumb is that if it’s 100% FOR SURE going to get a Community Day I’ll just wait. If I want the Dex credit maybe I’ll evolve a decent on in the 90s (assuming I have plenty of candy)

I evolved both my hundo quaxly and fuecoco so I’d say yeah, go for it. If it has a Com day, it’ll be in years, and these starters aren’t generally good enough to warrant holding off for that long

I read an analysis on Meowscarada and it says it won’t be good competitively. Frenzy Plant might help, but just a little. Out of the three starters, Skeledirge is the best one and Meow the worst.
If you don’t mind the competitive scene and / or just want to fill the dex, just evolve it. Who knows what year Sprigatito’s CD will be?

I got a 4* lechonk And scatterbug back to back and I’m absolutely evolving both even if they don’t have relevance right now. Maxing them might be a different story but I try to max my 4* and get best buddies with them regardless of what they are. My first one was a cottonee and as goofy as it seems with two charged moves whimsicott is actually decent for a few situations and I have it a little over level 40
