I adore the buddy feature that allows your buddy Pokemon to re-throw a ball back at the other Pokemon.
I forgot how much I hate catching starters. Goodbye berries and balls 😅

Since the season update, the game has been bugged for me where it will skip the loading screen and assets won't be loaded. That's not a major issue but combined with that is that I am not getting any rocket balloons spawning. Sometimes one will spawn during the bugged opening but restarting the app then won't have that balloon make a reappearance
The event is not for 2 weeks it’s only 4 days…
If you pull the ball for fast catch all the way across your screen, you can avoid crossing your thumbs!

No one is talking about it because its basically a starter event where your go plus (+) will only catch like 1 out of every 8 pokemon you encounter and the starters themselves will waste about 10 balls each to catch so you wont be netting that much stardust anyway
I love how 4 Pokémon during this event have boosted shiny odds

Another (extremely slightly) different way to Quick Catch is to:
1) Just hold the Berry-icon/button. Just put your finger there.
2) Throw the ball while having the finger on the Berry icon/button.
3) When the ball hits, move the finger holding the Berry icon/button slightly towards the middle and it will open up.
4) Push the "Back" button on your phone twice. This will get you out of the Berry-selection and then the encounter-screen. No need to tap the actual "Run" button that's in the game.
Again, not so different, but it's slightly faster. This at least works for me and I just double checked, just in case, and yeah, the Berry icon/button does not move. If this works for everyone is something I don't know. Everyone's phone is different and I have no idea if every phone even has a "Back" button these days. They add, remove and re-add stuff all the time when it comes to phones, lmao 😅

Why would we spend minimum 3k stardust to purify 3 for haunter for only stardust , does haunter give 3k+ stardust on a single catch?

No need to tap the middle of screen to minimize, just double tap on run button to make it even quicker.
This is probably a lame tip but I haven't seen it. I'm sure someone has mentioned it. Keep a dozen low cp critters for power up 3/5/10 research tasks. JUST MHO. Tag them with power up and go to that tag. You're not wasting more than 200 dust per power up or as I have done just delete those tasks.
For me just place left finger on the on the berry button (without dragging) and right hand finger throw ball then close/exit << works faster than a pokeball plus😀
The 4x bonuses end Sunday though. Not 10 days. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I realized a while ago that this game gets played way to casual now for people to care about stardust or any event that gives you supplies lol no one’s actually playing the game and if you do your a “try hard” like people literally cry that I’m such a high level and have maxed out Pokémon smh it’s quite frustrating

I did a casual 13k today, got 200k stardust 🎉 No shinies or hundos. I really want a shiny female LeChonk, which I'm sure is gonna be super hard to find.

For me, not interested. Niantic has ruined the game for me. "Go meet with your local community" they say. What local community? I have none.
Only way I could do legendary or mega raids was remotely, and they basically removed that option for me. It sucks playing alone, so I quit the game.
Niantic is getting long time players like myself to quit.

I have heard that loop routes where you end at the same stop you started from do not spawn zygard cells.

I've experienced that route trick on loop routes don't work like regular ones.
