The only reasons I don’t do this are 1. Because of mons that change color when they evolve in shiny form (charmeleon, dragonair, frogadier, nuzleaf, etc.)2. I’m lazy, and 3. there are some that are just straight up unclassifiable, like lotad.

What other creative Tags have you guys created? I made one called Near Evolution. This tag is added to any of my Pokémon who are within about 20 candies to evolve. The only other default tag indicating a Pokémon ready for evolution is “Can Evolve”, and I’ve accidentally transferred some Pokémon who were 10 candies away from evolution. The other tag I made is Vivillion. For organizing all stages of Scatterbbg, Spewpa, and Vivillion into one screen.
I also made a BFF tag. I have been using this tag for Pokémon who can only evolve through adventuring as my buddy.
