I saw this on a person I added and I’m curious to know why this person at lvl 41 has 44M xp but it’s capping at 7.5M.
Is there any special task you have to accomplish to proceed to the next lvl?
I’ve only started playing this game last month, so it’s new to me.

At level 40+ you get mission requirements along with EXP. So he is either saving or stuck one one
Could be to get the Eevee evolutions. That one can get annoying.

I have 27.4 million out of 7.5 million required on level 41. I am just super lazy and borderline defiant when it comes to pogo tasks
Levels above 40 really suck with the tasks. Not fun
For me as a L43 with enough xp to hit L44 I *really* hate the ball busting league battle’s I have to do.
I am still level 40
I’m also stuck at level 41 for some reason the eevee nicknames are not working for me, So I feel this dude pain as I struggle with my own
Anyone know if the xp rolls over? I’m in the same exact scenario as op’s pick.
Will I keep the difference in xp if I ever finish my eeveelutions?
I’m at 60 M exp lvl 41…. just too lazy to grind for the higher levels and having to deal with an over filled item bag

I get it, Im stuck in catch 200 pokes in a day, I play every day and several times a day, but I would need to have a pokemon go day for this task, and with a wife wanting to go out in rest days is hard
Most I have catch in a single day was around 95
Anyone happen to know while this is getting some attention if there’s a way to know which eeveelutions have been evolved? I’ve done 5 of 7 but unsure which ones I’ve done. I’ll probably have to do all 7 in a row to figure it out but curious if anyone knows anything.

This could be me. I just don’t see the point in leveling up beyond level 40.
Getting to 41 just happened organically by ordinary gameplay. I’m not stuck at 41, just haven’t bothered with it. And yes, it’s the eevees that are left.
By the way, a tip – name your eeveelutions one, two, three etc as you do them. If I like to level up one day, I know which ones I’m missing 🙂
What happens to all the excess exp you earn? (Does it go towards the next level?)
To level up once there at 40 you complete task then? Or if you completed prior to will they count then?
I have 260m xp at lvl 41. At some point I decided I’d just stuck with it.

I feel that, I’m lvl 41 and I’ll be in the same situation because I don’t have the patience to evolve all them eevees
I have a friend of mine that is on lvl40 or 41 can’t remember, he does not care about lvling up, he has a lot of lvl50 pokemon and is one of the bigger whales in my area. He really does not care, he tells people “I can get everything at lvl 40”
I’ll be stuck on 50 lucky trades (level 48) forever
the level 41 requirements aren’t that hard… unless whoever it is has caught like no Eevee
