Well i wouldnt even try to catch them if i didnt had the go plus so its not that bad.

where are you getting gen 5 starters? what country are you in?

  3. Muisvleer

Rookie mistake. Never check the journal after a auto catch run. You’ll only be sad. Lost 2 shinies (that I know of) myself that way.

  4. Clobber420

Yeah I just don’t check the journal when I use a catcher lol

Gotta admit that you’re just unlucky. I’ve auto caught so many shinys and never noticed until I went and empty my storage. Caught about 13 shinys so far and only 1 ran away I know in the last month

Never check your journal after using an auto-catcher. You’re setting yourself up for failure.

  7. You use it at times when you’re not catching on the screen, not instead of. Then everything it gets is a bonus, and nothing you would have caught without it is lost. I get 200 to 300 catches per day from it, just doing my normal daily activities. That’s 20,000 to 30,000 stardust and 30,000 to 45,000 xp.

Is the park tepig nest or something? Those are plenty tepig spawn squence

  9. MasterofBiscuits

Love mine. I’ve caught way more shines than I have lost, and they are shinies I would never have caught since I wouldn’t have been playing.

Excuse my ignorance, but what’s a go catch?

  11. scarykicks

Wild cause I catch 80% of my shinies on the auto catcher. These newer Pokemon are harder to catch so probably why they get away.

  12. realvikingman

you should only use the auto-catcher when you cannot catch them manually or cannot play at the moment.

you only really lost 6 Pokeballs since the interaction would not have happened if auto-catch was not on, plus you got 25xp for each run away.

  13. Impatrickk

What’s the best auto catcher performance/$ wise

  14. TrueyBanks

Ive lost a handful of shinies because of the go plus. The trick is to never ever ever EVER look at it. Ignorance is bliss 😂

  15. Why tf this man encountering so many tepigs????

  16. YouAreRabble

Hey man, I don’t usually comment on this sub but wanted to express my frustration too.

I had 118 poke balls yesterday. I finally decided to give my Go++ a whirl.

I came back 2 hours later, and looked at my Pokémon inventory. It had caught FIVE Pokémon.

I looked at my poke balls. I had 27 left. ??????

We paid like $50 for this garbage…..

My journal looked like yours: ran away. Ran away. Ran away. Ran away….This piece of garbage Go++ will be sitting in a drawer for the rest of its life.

    Such a bummer.

  17. EveningRip1203

I’m sorry, but we’re all these tepig

  18. Pope_Squirrely

The shinies don’t appear as shinies in the journal if they ran from auto catching unless you clicked on them then clicked on the go plus/plus+, which would be pretty foolish to do IMO.

  19. On average, it’s 50/50 catch rate. Sometimes it’ll be higher, sometimes it’ll be lower. There’s gonna be days where you run out of room immediately and days where you barely have more than what you started with

  20. Were you going to catch those pokemon if it had not tried?

  21. Affectionate-Guess25

Did I miss a tepig spotlight hour there? 🤔🤣

    Sorry for your troubles!

  22. OpeningCookie1358

My buddy got close to 90 some odd shinies for gofest using these with playing. The go only missed 4. It has its perks.

  23. InternationalPop6713

I lost around 10-15 shinies during the nyc go fest weekend when I was just walking through the city. I even lost a wild shiny Lucario 🥹. I learned the hard way not to look at the journal too much because it’ll only disappoint you.
