Switch 2 release rumors going crazy right now
Woo. Personally hoping for a Fantasy Life release date first and foremost myself, then Super Mario RPG. Should be a good one for me just based on what’s left with generic 2023 release dates.
In terms of new releases, I don’t know what to expect, so that’s all super exciting!
Winter means up to March so this is really the games that are coming between now and the end of the fiscal year March 2024. Exciting!!!
Update: Please for the love of all that is good in this world, announce the Wii U remastered ports of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess! Been dying to replay these Zelda games for too long.

Going to cross my fingers for Metroid Prime 2 and hope maybe we hear more about Metal Slug Tactics.
My dream would be a final fantasy tactics remake announcement.
No expectations, but those are what I’d like to see. I am excited to see what they announce.
These may be the lowest expectations I have for a Direct since I bought my Switch. Not because I think it’ll be lackluster, but because I’m pretty content with my games library and massive backlog atm.
The only somewhat feasible things I really want right now are a Xenoblade X port and maybe Pikmin DLC but that would be breaking precedent
As always, fine to get excited and hyped, but for your own sake don’t overdo it and leave yourself disappointed. You can reasonably expect it to play out something like this.
-2 medium-big first party titles to start and end the presentation
-A smaller first party game such as a remaster, port, or new entry into a smaller franchise
-A majority of the presentation being niche smaller titles
-Some more information on titles we already know about

I unironically think we’re gonna get a teaser for Prime 4 as the one more thing. Either that or very soon. The Switch is at the end of its life and it’ll most likely be a cross gen game at this point like BOTW.

More optimistic hope is that they officially announce the rumoured FE4 remake, probably won’t happen but I can dream. Although FE announcements are now not as fun because with every FE related announcement you get tons of haters who can’t stand the amount of attention it gets.
I feel fairly confident that there’ll be a decent Level-5 showing here. They have like 5 games announced for the end of this year and early next year and they are going to be at Tokyo gameshow in a couple of weeks.
I’d like to see Wind Waker because I haven’t ever played it (I’ve only played BotW and TotK) and it looks adorable.
I’d also like Tomodachi Life so I don’t have to think too hard about a Christmas present for my god daughter.
As a third party bonus, I’d like Far Cry 3.
