The name is a bit naff, but this looks really really cool
It’s a bit on-the-nose to call this the “rebirth” of tactical RPGs, but it does honestly look like a fresh spin on things, I’m very optimistic

Looks like Heroes of Might and Magic but with more character and slightly better art. Edit : looked it up and Heroes of M & M sort of died when studio got bought and never had many console ports so this is huge if one is fan of HOMM.

Ogre Battle with a Vanillaware coat of paint is enough to sell me on this.
I wasn’t sure if it was Vanillaware at first, but as soon as I saw that food hit the table it was immediately clear. They have such a distinct art-style on some things.

Man this game looks so cool but why do they have to keep doing this? Octopath Traveler, Triangle Strategy, and now Unicorn Overlord. Why do they have to give these great games such stupid names, it 100% has an effect on sales because no one wants to talk about this games because they’ll sound like a mega doofus. Whoever is naming these games need to stop. Regardless, this is definitely my most anticipated game of the direct and can’t wait to play it.
